Our first film, Among Us, was more us learning the
equipment and the process than it was making a film.
Work in Progress, however, was a completely different story.
For this film, I enlisted veteran videographer,
Steve Mayeux, to help me direct. This film has actual
dialogue that was recorded on new sound equipment. Also,
the entire cast of this movie is composed of experienced actors.
Each shot was designed in great detail including intricate
storyboards from Allen Gladfelter. Everyone involved
worked extremely hard (and for free) to produce a great piece.
Synopsis
The comfort of multitudes of industry accolades proves to be no
comfort at all for Dr. Harold Raymond. He is a lonely
workaholic who threw away his better years creating new
medications for a large pharmaceutical company. Although he has
enjoyed great success, he has no one with which to share it.
The bitter irony of growing old and useless in the process of
making others younger and hopeful is growing to be more than he
can bear. However, when an opportunity to connect with the past
forces a realization of what matters most, he learns what true
legacies are made of.
