Guns McMenamin is a repo man. He may be the best damn repo man that ever lived (at least that’s what he tells all the ladies). The life of a repo man is difficult, unrewarding, and life-threatening, but most of all it is a great excuse to drive recklessly and play with firearms: the only two things Guns loves more than his own two, admittedly beefy, arms.

Despite sometimes returning the repossessed vehicles with a few more bullet holes than it had before, Guns and his crew, Bo Sucki, Quarter Pounder and Steve, are called again and again to go after the cars that no other repo company has the fortitude to touch.

Because of this, Guns and his team often find themselves in the most unbelievable situations: gun fights with the mob, run-ins with powerful politicians, scuffles with bat wielding maniacs, and even the occasional confrontations with pirates, space aliens, or Confederate ghosts.

With the help of his partner and the other employees of Fais Do-Do Repeaux, Guns just might stay in business long enough to see everything, but it’s highly doubtful.

Guns McMenamin and Bo Sucki are long time friends, partners, and the primary source of income for Fais Do Do Repeaux. They’re willing to go after the cars no other sane person would. Bo is the sensitive voice of reason and Guns provides the impulsive muscle, but despite being almost exact opposites, they make a near perfect team.

Marion McMenamin goes by the self-given name of “Guns” until he can save up enough money to have it legally changed. He felt it too good a name for just his arms to have. Guns thinks a lot about himself, but not in some pansy, sensitive, woman-like way. Some might call his boasting conceded, but he just calls it what it is: the truth.

Bo Sucki has been friends with Guns McMenamin since high school when Guns would protect Bo from the unwarranted scorn of campus bullies (Bo’s unfortunate last name didn’t help things). Bo is the C-3PO to Guns’s R2D2; he isn’t as willing a participant in their more risky ventures and is usually pointing out the potential disaster of any situation.

Quarter Pounder and Steve are the other, less profitable repo team in the shop. No one is sure which of the two is Quarter Pounder and which one is Steve, but it doesn’t really matter because they are never seen apart.

The tall one is logical and level-headed. He is well-learned and would rather read books than watch the idiot box. The short one is feisty, but unfortunately not too bright. He looks up to the tall one and sometimes tries too hard to emulate him (that is when he isn’t picking fights with any and every one). Quarter Pounder and Steve usually cost the shop more money than they bring in because they are constantly botching jobs. On rare occasions they have their moments of brilliance, though they are few and far between. Guns still keeps them around because if they’re not making money, at least they’re making him look better by comparison.

Red

Red’s personality is as fiery as her bright red hair. She is incredibly blunt and fearless. Her New Orleans upbringing is evident in her brashness, common sense approach, and alcohol tolerance. As the office manager, she is constantly on Guns’s case about his business habits, and spends a lot of her time fighting off bill collectors. She is the only one who can see through Guns’s tough guy persona and because of her dominant personality, she is usually the one telling him what to do. Red isn’t afraid to tell Guns, or anyone for that matter, anything.
